In Excel sometimes you need to insert a line break inside the cell. On Windows you can easily insert a line break by hitting the Alt-ENTER keys. However, while using Office for Mac these keystroke combinations won’t work.

If you are running Excel for Mac and need to insert a line break inside the cell you can hit Control-Option-Return.
